Since the Industrial Revolution, mankind has had devastating effects on the environment. The Earth has been ransacked by people for its natural resources. People need to realize that in order to succeeded as a species we need to care for our environmental sustainability. The concept of sustainability is that its based on the premise that people and their communities are made up of environmental, economic and social systems that are constantly working together to achieve balance in ecosystem. When there is much pressure on the environment in such a way that the carrying capacity of the environment is over exceeded and can no longer repair itself, this may harm the environment is a big way. Some of the environmental resources such as ground water are non-renewable so if we over use them we lose them forever.
