Due to the advent of low cost, advanced ICT and software availability, various organizations are creating data warehouses and thereby maintaining large, multivariate, valuable data as an asset. Therefore, a large number of carrier opportunities in data analysis in the capacity of data scientists or data analysts are emerging. In order to cope up with the market demand of data scientists, academia are updating their syllabus by introducing various statistical analysis software, computer based practicals and at least one semester project. The objective of this paper is to bring these critical issues to the notice of academicians, researchers and data analysts. The paper also gives discussion regarding resolving these issues. Indian students are studying these basic sciences since their V th standard.

The Smart Health program solicitation has been revised and prospective Principal Investigators PIs are encouraged to read the solicitation carefully. Among the changes are the following:. Transformations hinge on scientific and engineering innovations by interdisciplinary teams that develop novel methods to intuitively and intelligently collect, sense, connect, analyze and interpret data from individuals, devices and systems to enable discovery and optimize health. Solutions to these complex biomedical or public health problems demand the formation of interdisciplinary teams that are ready to address these issues, while advancing fundamental science and engineering. RESEARCH INSTRUMENTS FOR DATA COLLECTION
This section describes the tools and techniques that are used in quantitative and qualitative methods. Quantitative methods involve the collection and analysis of objective data, often in numerical form. The research design is determined prior to the start of data collection and is not flexible.
Research is " creative and systematic work undertaken to increase the stock of knowledge". A research project may be an expansion on past work in the field. To test the validity of instruments, procedures, or experiments, research may replicate elements of prior projects or the project as a whole.
