Cause And Effect Essay On Climate Change
Gender and climate change | IUCN
A global crisis has shocked the world. It is causing a tragic number of deaths, making people afraid to leave home, and leading to economic hardship not seen in many generations. Its effects are rippling across the world. But in just a few decades, the same description will fit another global crisis: climate change. As awful as this pandemic is, climate change could be worse. When disaster strikes, it is human nature to worry only about meeting our most immediate needs, especially when the disaster is as bad as COVID But the fact that dramatically higher temperatures seem far off in the future does not make them any less of a problem—and the only way to avoid the worst possible climate outcomes is to accelerate our efforts now.
Impacts of climate change
Climate change is real, and it is really something serious that people downplay a whole lot. The truth is, the climate is changing each and every day. There are many different problems that are leading to our climate change, some of them having to do with the Greenhouse Effect , and other changes are occurring due to human activity and solar irradiance. The earth is becoming hotter, whether we want to admit it or not.
Global warming and climate change proponents believe because of their low lying, ocean-fronted borders, relatively small land masses, and exposure to extreme weather and climate variability , island nations are especially vulnerable. As sea levels continue to rise, they surmise, island peoples and cultures are being threatened. There are small and low populated islands without adequate resources available to protect the island and its human and natural resources.
