The study programme can be completed completely in English. Additionally, several elective courses are available in German. German language courses are available at the language centre at University of Siegen. A German certificate is not necessary.

Now, Value Colleges has taken another look at the world of interaction design, human-computer interaction, and all of the many specializations within the field to find the best value degrees for one of the most in-demand professions of today. There is no one interaction or UX design job description , but the field is marked by some common elements. According to the Interaction Design Foundation , interaction design revolves around 5 dimensions that shape how people interact with products — words, visual representation, physical object or space, time, and behavior. Most often, today, we think of interaction design in terms of software and interfaces, and many interactions designers work in:. An interaction design job description might look different from company to company and product to product. The job itself may be more oriented toward management, organization, and planning, or toward the actual work of designing, analyzing, researching, and producing products, whether those are digital or physical.
The HCIM program requires 30 credit hours of academic work to be completed with a minimum 3. Our program is typically completed in two years by full-time students, while offering flexibility to accommodate part-time and professional students. International students may need to take additional credits to meet the requirements for being a full-time student in the United States.
We offer a range of lectures , seminars, and practical sessions. An up-to-date list can be found here. Each course is stand-alone, however, it is recommended to first sit Fundamentals of Machine Learning and then Advanced Machine Learning.
